Unfortunately a Typhoon hit Korea while we were there.. So we didn't get out as much as we wanted to. We did, however, meet lots of friendly people.

Our hotel room in the first night in Korea.. (A least it was cheap)

The people who made our business cards (using MS Word)
We're bums, we have to have business cards!!

Age eating some yummy (but hot) Korean dish.

Turtles in the Imperial Palace.. Where is the palace?

Seoul by night!

Friendly Koreans we meet in a bar/coffee house that night.

The proprietor of our favorite eatery in Seoul and his dumplings.

The 38th Parallel.

Rain, rain, go away! (Typhoon)

Since we couldn't go backpacking in Soraksan... We went swimming! Here is Age doing laps (outside) in a Typhoon..

Jesse playing inside

Here we are backpacking in our hotel room. (Notice the eating utensils)

A profound picture of Jesse, in Korea, ordering a book on Tibet, from a bookstore in Seattle, to be shipped to Beijing, on a computer made and repaired in Japan, with a credit card issued in Georgia which you are now viewing in ??? thanks to a server in Schenectady. Isn't technology wonderful!

I left Age alone for a moment and she found two more Korean friends.

A small cabin on the boat from Korea to China.
